New Graphics Card, no display, no bios

My new graphics card is simply not transmitting any video display at all, it is a sapphire HD 7850 and my new PSU is a corsair cx750 which should be more than enough to supply it.

The computer boots and I can even log in by waiting for the startup music and typing my password and hitting enter, which then gets me the log in music, but theres just no video.

The cables are fine as it works fine with my old video card

Start windows in safe mode by pressing F8 when computer boots (you should have image in safe mode if all is connected properly), remove old graphics card driver and install new on, reboot and voilá

Unfortunately no, that doesnt seem to work. I dont have access to another computer either to see if its a dud video card and I dont want to send it back if theres nothing wrong with it as i got it online and its going to be a damn hassle

Edit: If it helps, when I try and boot the computer with the new card in and the integrated graphics disabled via BIOS i just get a long beep and two beeps which is I think the code for no card, but it is definitely put in properly and powered up. Does this mean it is dud?

If in BIOS you have PCI-e selected for video source and the card has power (6 pin connected) then yes, RMA it.
