I am trying to build a pc with a gtx 780, i7 4770k, 16 gigs of ram, but dont know what motherboard to choose. I was either going for the ASUS Sabertooth Z87 or the Maximus VI Formula. I like the aesthetics of both motherboards.
Pick the one with features that you like and go with that board.
Between the two, I would go with the Maximus VI Formula because it has mPCIe combo card with Wifi and BT,
open type PCIe x1 slots, support for water cooling, debug LED, and build in SSD Secure Erase.
Sabertooth Z87 doesn't have any of that and it uses active fan. I hate active fans.
I wouldn't bother. The extra money over something like a Z87 Extreme4, GA-Z87X-D3H, or Z87-A isn't worth it. They barely OC better and are largely for bling.

Thank you for answering I think ill spend the extra money for a maximus VI Formula because it only costs about $70 more than the sabertooth and has a pretty long warranty. Thanks for answering it helped a lot!
