PSU: Shall I buy Corsair CX500m Bronze or some other brand. Priced below $70/4800INR
GPU : R9 270x CPU : i5 3470

A slight lil' doubt, is there any need to increase the Watts from 500 to 600

After some personal reviews found xfx pro 550W | seasonic G 550W if any other model of Seasonic brand but priced below $70/4800INR then pls... enlighten me

More about : corsair cooler master antec

The Corsair CX500m would be a good PSU and if you plan to get a R9 290X or 780 in the future, then you should get the 600W.

If you can get this one , get it , better than the CX600.

The XFX is high quality , made by the best SEASONIC.

The CX Series are cheap\budget units made by CWT.

As XFX model 550W isn't modular edition do you have suggestions on Seasonic PSU models that are priced below $80/4800INR

For a system using a single AMD Reference Design Radeon R9 270X graphics card AMD specifies a minimum of a 500 Watt or greater system power supply. The power supply should also have a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 30 Amps or greater and have at least two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Sufficient Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) rated at 45°C - 50°C ambient temperature, is the most critical factor.

Overclocking of the CPU and/or GPU(s) may require an additional increase to the maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current ratings, recommended above, to meet the increase in power required for the overclock. The additional amount required will depend on the magnitude of the overclock being attempted.

The Seasonic ECO Series 500W (SS-500BT) power supply unit, with its maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 34 Amps and with two (6+2)-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors, is sufficient to power your system configuration with a single Radeon R9 270X graphics card.

The Seasonic ECO Series 600W (SS-600BT) would just give you some spare capacity to allow you to safely overclock your CPU or GPU.

Seasonic S12II and M12II models use higher quality components and are able to operate world wide.

Seasonic ECO Series are OEM models built with lower quality components and only operate at an input voltage of 200-240VAC.
