Hi,

i have two older PCs at home and i would like to upgrade one so i would like to know which power supply is better for upgrading to something like hd7850 and i5?

i would say chieftec , it has more power and better quality build ...
this particular model is made by delta ...
but bear in mind it´s still only entry level unit
with only one 6 pin pcie express connector and 33A on 12V rail total ...
if you will buy non K intel i5 processor and
video card like 7850/650ti boost edition it will handle it...
although the best possible option would be to buy brand new power supply...
