I know that you have to leave 20% space on your SSD for better performance.

Here's my concern: I have recently cloned my SSD from a HDD using Acronis and it was successful. Now my SSD drive is partitioned into two different drives. One drive is (C) 29.0 GB free of 97.2 GB and the other is (E) 69.3 free of 70.3 GB. When they say leave 20% space free, does it mean that my main drive with (C) 29.0 GB free of 97.2 GB has to be 20% free space or the combination of both (C) and (E) drives have to be 20%?

Thanks!

10-20% of the entire drive. Partitioning does not change the physical drive. It is only a logical separation. And not really needed any more.
