BIOS Idle Temperature (is this normal?)

I have just built my new PC with an Intel Core i5 4570 (with stock CPU cooler).
My BIOS says my CPU temperature is around 45-46 degrees (it's doing nothing).
It also tells me that my per core temperature is around 49-50 degrees (normal???)
I'm a first time PC builder and I'm looking to use my computer for gaming as well.
I have a GTX 760 graphics card so want to know my CPU, etc won't get too hot!
Obviously a special (purchased separately) CPU cooler would be better, no doubt.
But what I want to know is will the stock cooler be good enough? This temp normal?

When you are in the BIOS, the CPU will always be at a small to medium load.

It can only idle when the operating system has been fully loaded.

Install windows (if you haven't already) and record idle temps and max temps there.
