Cheap CPU and Gaming

At the moment of this writing, what is, in your opinion, a cheap but generally accepted CPU and motherboard that can play most games(and at least Battlefield 4 comfortably on medium settings)? A tier below and after listing would also be appreciated. I didn't ask for GPUs because I figure the CPU is more important, but feel free to list away. Just know I'm on a tight budget and I'm looking to upgrading when I get more money. Thanks.

It highly depends on your GPU as well, there is no 'better' component. You need a good mix of both.

What is your current GPU?

AMD FX 6300 / 8320. Best budget ones around, most price/performance.

And yes, what's your GPU?

Sorry, I should have clarified. I haven't bought them yet and was gonna ask about the GPU next. Thoughts...? Thanks btw. The 6300 seems like a good choice. What GPU and also motherboard(DDR3 and SATA III compatible) would go well with that?
