Upgrading my size of my SSD

I was looking into buying a new bigger SSD than the one i currently have and if you are able to move over an operating system to the other SSD?

Cloning means making an exact duplicate of a particular drive, like C:. Cloning preserves all of your Windows registry entries and installed programs so that you do not need to re-install programs. Cloning can save a lot of time compared to a fresh install.

I cloned my entire C: drive to my Samsung 840 Pro SSD using Samsung's "Data Migration" tool. At first I was getting an error that the drive had been disconnected, then the software prompted me for an update. After the update it worked flawlessly! Highly recommended!
