I am going to upgrade my graphics card from 2 crossfired gigabyte radeon 6770 hd 1gb cards to what I am unsure.

I was thinking of going with the r9 270 double d from xfx and possibly crossfiring that, but unsure if that is the best route to take.

Any assistance or recommendations would be helpful.

AMD 1090t chip on a sabertooth 990fx motherboard with 750 w powersupply.

Looking for some prizes I found that may be you can get the R9 280X for about 299dls 100 bucks less than 2x(R9 270X), wich will cost 199dls each. You can get even the R9 290X assuming the prize is 100dls above the R9 280X
In my case I prefer single graphics card solutions, Only if you are looking at triple monitor gaming, or a 4k monitor, might sli/cf will be needed.
Even that is now changing with triple monitor support on top end cards and stronger single card solutions.
