Have a dell xp laptop that died (cpu failure). I've removed the hard drive (xp) and want to load the files to my new machine (win 7). I have the hardware to handle the project (power and sata to usb cable). When I plug the usb in I get "format required". Help. How can I safely get access to the old files?
