samsung 840 evo 250 gb didn't come with cables

didn't come with any cables. which ones would i need? i thought a sata 3 cable but what power cable do i need? confused on what to purchase any suggestions?

It uses the same sata power and data connectors as 3.5" sata hdds. Your PSU should have the proper sata power connector.

Ok is there a certain size though for the power connector i should get? where does it have to reach too?

It just uses the standard connector(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_ATA#Standard_connector). It has to reach to wherever you installed the drive inside the case. Are you installing this in a desktop or laptop(i have been assuming a desktop)?

yes desktop, ok i think ill just make sure i get a long enough cable, don't have the case yet but it is a full tower case
