I got a graphics card from my friend about 2 weeks ago and I've been experiencing crashes since day one of installing it. I have all of the latest drivers for it and it seems to happen when ever it pleases. The freeze screens have varied over time from white and black horizontal lines to blue and white horizontal lines to the most recent purple and black vertical lines.

Someone please help!

My Specs:
AMD 6100 black edition processor
AMD HD XFX Radeon 6790
8gb DDR3 RAM
300gb HDD
Gigabyte 78LMT-S2P Motherboard
Thermaltake TR 700W PSU

I can play for HOURS and this problem doesn't occur from overheating or something because it happens when I'm not in-game or when I'm casually using my PC.

for anyone who need the crash info I have it here:

If you have any tips on how I would fix this I would greatly appreciate it! ^^
