I'm aiming to upgrade my computer but I have some questions to be sure they are the right decisions
I mainly wanted to have a larger GPU, but they are too expensive, so I thought I would crossfire with another 7870, as well as getting more ram
===Questions===
- can the Motherboard handle it? Even fit the two?
- would I need to upgrade my CPU?
-do the GPUs have to be manufactured from the same company to crossfire?
-I have two displays, do both need to be connected to one or one to each card?

Thank you for all your responses I will answer them with all the information I may have left out

Solution
SLI works better than CrossFire.

No need to add more RAM. 8GB is all you will need.

Crossfire is supported by your chosen MB, but not SLI.

No need to upgrade CPU.

Yes it will be better not to mix brands and frequency for GPU. So go with the exact maker for GPU if you want to do crossfire.

Both displays need to be connected by one GPU for Crossfire or SLI to work.
