I just purchased a Lenovo H530s (chip i3-4130 3.4; HDD 1TB; Memory 4GB) desktop with Windows 8. I have used Ubuntu for a short time on an old pc (not a most honorable geek... rarely used the terminal). Now I would like to dual boot Linux Mint 13 Mate along side Windows. I would like to use a flash drive as a backup for LM13 and install along side Windows from the flash drive. 1) I have downloaded an ISO before and burned to a disk. How do I go about downloading to a flash drive? 2) Once I have the LM13 on the flash drive, how do I get it install along side Windows?

Thank you.

USB creator is on your disk. It will make your USB a bootable copy.

a good guide to UEFI installs. Mint is based on Ubuntu so everything is pretty much the same.
