Hi,
For approximately two weeks, I have been getting jagged edges/yellow green and purple dots all over my screen whilst playing games. It started out on Mass Effect, however after about a two weeks of playing Battlefield 4 it is now unbearable to the point where it covers my entire screen. The HUD is still visible, but the game is not. Viewing photo's in Windows Photo Viewer gives green and purple dots (see attached images).
The Nvidia logo within the Nvidia Control Panel also does the same things as what Battlefield 4 and Mass Effect 1/2 did. Previous games that gave no issues before (eg: Skyrim) are now giving the same issues. I believe I have been playing fine on 331.82 happily for about one-two weeks now, until recently.
I have tried BETA drivers and past drivers available on the nvidia website and the issue still persists. I could only stop all these issues when I used my factory drivers that came with my laptop for my GT 745M (311.41 - really old) and I can only get around 11FPS on BF4 with medium settings @ 1080P. When everything worked fine, I was getting approximately 40FPS. Toshiba has only offered drivers for Windows 8.0, and I could not find any newer ones on their driver download page for Windows 8.1.
I have checked GPU temperatures, it was at 54 deg C after approx 1 hour of BF4 (when it intermittently gave the problems), and 47 deg at idle. The laptop is maybe only 2-3 months old, and it's vents are still clean/ fairly dust free.
I have attached a few photos of my problems, one including an error message I only ever received once : https://www.dropbox.com/sh/rz5f5gw1xfmws5k/DekOwfQNq_
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
