My hardware

Graph card: MSI R7950 Twin Frozr 3GD5/OC Radeon HD 7950 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 BX80637I53570K

Ram: Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200) Desktop Memory Model 997092

The problem started when i plugged another monitor I would start up a game. The game would be running at 60 FPS but be choppy and ect. I lowered the settings and changed it to border less that did nothing. I looked at my CPU to usage and it was jumping around to 60-80. Can my CPU not handle another monitor?

Interesting. Sorry I am not more familiar with dual monitor setups. So, it doesn't do it with a single monitor? Is the CPU overclocked? Did you disable the Graphics 4000 in BIOS? I might start with that.

Are the monitors set at difference resolutions?

You might check your event log for errors, may be able to help you identify what's going on.

To answer your question, the CPU is plenty fast enough to push two monitors, but overclocking it sure wouldn't hurt!

With one monitor it runs just fine this didn't start happening till i plugged in the second one. Both of the resolutions are the same 1920x1080 i have not tried overclocking it i didnt think it would help that much but i can give it a go.
