I saw a similar post about this but it was dated back to 2010 when this computer came out. I have an R9 290X coming in the mail by monday and am wondering if there are any good CPU heatsinks or case fans that I could replace in order to get more out of this new GPU. Any suggestions?

Solution
Your case has one fan inside of it, an 80mm rear fan setup as exhaust.

This fan along with the CPU fan are both pwm fans.

I suggest using a program like SpeedFan to control the RPM of the two fans inside during gaming sessions.

Be patient when installing your 290x, there is very little room in your case for large graphics cards.

UPDATE:
Judging from what I understand, the rear fan is an 80 mm fan and the cpu heatsink/ case fan is a 92 mm fan.

Would this be a reasonable replacement for the 80 mm fan?

And this for the heatsink? I noticed that this one has a 4 pin connector, does that mean that it will not be compatible with the 3 pin on my mobo?

If so, could this be an alternative?
