I will be building a computer and will be playing on 2 monitors. One is a 32" hdtv 1080p, the other monitor is smaller and has a resolution of 1600x900. I want to play bf4 on ultra in the 1080p hdtv. I need help with the graphics card. I have and 8320 CPU and a gigabyte 990 fxa ud3 mobo. For the GPU i was thinking of the gtx 760 2 gb or 4 gb. My price range is around 250$-275$. Would the 760 play bf4 ultra 1080p at around 60+ fps? If not what card could do this on my 2 monitor set up in my price range with at the Very most if i must raise it 300$ but would prefer to stay loser if possible. Thanks for the help!

Also would this be a better choice than the 760?

Yeah, you should be all set. If really want to be sure you can go with the 770. which is a little more future proof. But the 760 will do you just fine also.

Its 100$ more, not sure if its worth the extra 100$ for you or not. you can look up benchmarks for the 760 and 770 for bf4 specifically and see if its worth the extra fps for you.

I have seen alot of benchmarks online and alot of reviews and most people say the 760 isnt enough and other say it will do 60 fps at 1080. I have one and can confirm it will on 2 monitors. Each GPU is different...

Is that the 4 gb version?

Nope that's actually the 2GB version. My monitors are the asus VS248H-P, the reason it can keep that many fps i think is because the evga acx version of the 760 i saw online was the coolest and kept the lowest temps over all other 760s, then i overclocked the superclocked version to 1306MHZ. Pretty good combination i think for overclocking a GPU. it stays cool too right around 70-75 degrees celcius

For BF4 Ram speed helps alot, its one of the only games that it really matters, i have 1866 16 gb or ram overclocked to 1993

if i don't overclock the 760 sc /acx cooling 2 gb, will it be able to do somewhat near what yours does and what would be the fps drop if i left it at stock? i would be playing it on the 1080p hdtv and the other monitor would be for recording, and just other computer task while playing. so basically, how would the fps be on ultra on the 1080p monitor at stock speeds?

It should beable to play close to, if not, at 60 fps no problem. My overclocking doesn't really change it much it just spikes up to 75-80 everyone and then and never goes below 65.

I don't see any reason it shouldn't play at 60 fps, depending on what your other components are, and if they're bottle necking your gpu

It looks like a solid build I don't see any problems that would cause a bottleneck anywhere.

If you have the extra 100$ it wouldn't hurt going with the 770, but the 760, once again, will do what you want.

some people say it performs a tad bit better the the 760 but it would be negligible. The 760 is newer gen, overall would be the better option. If you were to overclock the 760 it would overclock better then the 670 also. I think the 670 cost more too, but its really not worth it because its last gen and the bang for your buck isnt as good.
