It's about equivalent to the PS4's GPU. It'll perform well, and can game on 1080p somewhere between low and high settings depending on the game, though to be safe you should keep AA very low (or off), because the 1 GB of VRAM will make gaming with eye candy very difficult. 1 GB will be taken up very fast at 1080p, so you should really try to find one with 2 GB of VRAM. When gaming at 1920x1080, it makes a massive difference:

It's currently out of stock, but $150 is about as cheap as a 2 GB Radeon HD 7850 will get. Try and use auto-notify. Trust me, 1 GB will not be enough at 1080p. With 2 GB, options like AA and settings between medium and maximum will become a lot more viable.
