Hi I was wondering the power supply I chose is suitable for these parts. This is my first time building a computer and the power supply scares me the most.

There's all this talk about Amps and 12V buses and stuff. I'm just looking to buy a supply which will work for my system. I don't want to get too much because I dont know what would happen if there's too much volts, but I know it won't work without enough.

My basic line of thought is this: The amd 7850 says it needs a 500W power supply minimum. So is a 600W supply suitable? Is that too high, not enough?

It doesn't matter if you get too powerful a PSU, except that you're wasting money.

I'd suggest one of these: http://us.ncix.com/products/?usaffiliateid=1000031504&s...
