1. For the ram, theres a shop near my area that sells 2x 4gb 1600mhz Gskill at the same price so i just put the $75 there

2. I aim to keep the total price under 900, however my cost now atm is 997. How can i reduce the cost and also keep similar or less performance(-10% ish)

3. Is anyone kind enough to adjust my build if it does not seem right/needs improvement/make it cheaper? I m not happy with the $997. Maybe $900 at max.

Actually you can get a 4470k with a bit cheaper motherboard and case (around 40-50 bucks as cases don't matter)
with a HD 7950 OC'd edition 3GB. Those are real bang for the bucks! Reduce the cost on the the PSU as well and also buy them from different sites like Microcenter sells Intel CPUs for cheap + the motherboard for 50% or something off (as far as I remember) and then the GPU from Newegg are you can get them from there for cheap so do some more research and you can get it for under 925
bucks. Ask for more help :)

If intel made a 4470k and newegg was in Australia that would be very helpful

So sorry :p I meant 4670k and well if you live in Australia then I won't be able to help you that much for online shopping but try the 3570k , it's a beast or the 2500k rocks too!
Try this for the 4670k - http://www.iibuy.com.au/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=10217_10278&products_id=44376

together with the $75 for ram you would be at $913.

If you want really cheap go for the next,

Including the $75 for ram this would cost $855.
I chose this gpu because it's just a clocked down version of the r9 270X,it even needs the two 6pin pcie power connectors which, imo, will help with overclocking it to 270X levels.
The motherboard will be fine if you don't use H87 utilities like raid and so forth.

hmm i still favour the first link, as i m looking for an Nvidia preferably. I do hope that my area still has some leftover 7870HDs, else i will get the 760.
910ish sounds ok, i like it

1. However, are you sure the 520w PSU can handle an Asus Direct Cooling ll GTX 760OC?
2. Also, why is the B85m Mobo chosen?
3. The asus GTX 760 cannot fit into the antec one case. Any substitutes?

haha that is smart, i will give it a think but i still prefer an Nvidia, mainly cuz witcher 3 favours Nvidia..............-.-

To everyone else, thank you for your time. I shall have a think of these builds and also go around my area to see if there are cheaper versions of these parts(MSY)

i did some changes http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/2hl9H

However i need a case that can fit the GTX 760 and also a compatible Mobo. The B85m Asrock does not seem to be compatible while the antec one cannot fit the GTX 760

Yes i am.

Because if just basic funcionality is required it's a nice cheap option.
For the chipset differences,
http://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Z87-H87-H81-Q87-Q85-B85-What-is-the-difference-473/
it's up to you what you prefer. If you don't use raid and such the B85 should do well.

Yes it does, from the antec site specs for the antec one;"video card size:10.5" (266 mm) maximum video card size".
from the asus site;"Dimensions 8.6 " x 5 " x 1.5 " Inch=21.84 x 12.7 x3.81 Centimeter.
10.5"-8.6"=1.9"difference,so the gpu should fit.
