The only issue raised buy pc part picker is that the motherboard has an onboard USB 3.0 header but the case does not have front panel USB 3.0 ports. I am assuming this will be fine as long as I don't need to use these ports.

I was also wondering about running the computer through a socket board with other appliances plugged into it, although I am assuming this will be fine as long as the max load on the board is not exceeded.

Thanks in advance for any advice/help.

You really dont need a cpu cooler if you arent going to overclock, the r9 280x is waay better than the 760..
Yea you will be fine since you really dont need those ports.

The 8350 performs very well for gaming, practically as well as the i5's but is cheaper, and will be good if you're rendering or making music etc. because it has 8 cores. I chose the 770 as it is a lot better than the 280X and it's been rated the best value card on toms hardware constantly. I have this card and I max out bf4 at 60fps. Also I threw in 16gb of 1866 ram which can be put to 8 if you need to spend the money elsewhere. :)

Amar build is pretty good but you said you want Nividia GPU so guess thats a no :O

I wouldn't pick Josh's build because you could just overclock a 8320 to roughly the same performance as a 8350 and save the money. 280x and gtx 770 are roughly the same, in performance. Maybe as time goes on the 2gb VRAM will be an issue.
