I am getting 3 monitors for free so I want to set up for triple-monitor gaming.

Currently I have
i5 3570k OC 4.5 ghz
16gb Ram
1x GTX 680 (2gb)
1000w Corsair PSU

My options are to either get a 2nd GTX 680, or sell my GTX 680 and get something from the 700 series. I fear the 2gb on 680 is a bottleneck for triple monitor gaming

So in the 700 series, what do you people recommend? I strictly buying from amazon.com and I do not overclock myself.

Options I see are
GTX 780 or its various models
GTX 780 ti

Should I get something like the EVGA GTX 780 FTW or a GTX 780 ti, or maybe 2-SLI GTX 780?

PS what is a good price to sell a gtx 680? I getting offers of $300

I would go for r9 290x since they have more vram that you need for 3 monitors. But out of those 3 i would get another 680 for sli.

If so you should get a second 680, it beats single 780 ti.

even if you add another 680 2gb you stay at 2gb vram total.

sell your 680 2 gb
and buy 680 or better with 3gb or more of vram
thats it

just dont make the mistake to buy another 2gb videocard...
