How do I set up a monitor?

This is probably the most stupidest question. But how do I set up a monitor?

I have the BenQ XL2720T. And it came with 3 cables. Power cable obviously, but then these two weird cables.

I'm usually a console player, and a console to a tv only requires a HDMI cable. Do I just use that?

Yes, you can use the HDMI cable, just plug one end into either HDMI output on your video card and the other end into the monitor.

Side Note: that video card is WAY OVERKILL for a single 1920 x 1080 monitor. You will be able to turn all the settings on Ultra high and it will not even test that card..... ENJOY!

Yes, obviously one is power, plug that one in. I am not sure what two other cables came with it, but it does not really matter which other one you use. Preferably choose one that does not require an adapter between your video card and monitor. If your video card has an HDMI output, you can use it.
