Help Computer does not boot

all LED's on computer blinking rapidly, psu, motherboard, powerswitch. All fans are on no beeps from motherboard and no video output to monitor nothing.

this is a new build with new mobo, processor, ram. Old psu, but confirmed that it does work on another computer.

your pulling more power then the power supply can output or there a dead short in your rig. try booting without the gpu if you have onboard video. check for pinched wires.

its a m5a78l-mlx plus motherboard with a fx-6300 processor

on the mb make sure the 8 pin power plug plugged in..the brass standoffs were used. look to see if the rear io shield is shorting. try booting the mb outside the case with just the power supply. check that the ram in all the way.

I put the motherboard on the wood counter, have 1 stick of ram in and the power supply connected. started it with the screwdriver method and the power supply led and the motherboard led are both flashing rapidly still

check for bent pins if there non under the cpu..try another power supply.

there are no bent pins on the cpu. I dont have another power supply to try, but you're sure that is the issue?
