To start off I'm using a Sapphire Radeon Vapor-X HD 7950 OC

My GPU ports:

1 x Dual-Link DVI
1 x Single-Link DVI-D
1 x HDMI
1 x DisplayPort

and I only have 3 cords (DVI, HDMI and DVI to HDMI)

and this is my story

I'm trying to connect a TV from my PC and I need to use my HDMI cable so I could transfer sounds to TV.

I'm now left with a plain DVI and DVI to HDMI cable. I'm currently using my DVI to HDMI cable for my PC

Would there be any difference in the graphics department using a DVI to HDMI cord? Would it be better if I use/buy a display port cord just in case?

I really hope my post wasn't confusing enough.

On digital signals like DVI and HDMI there should be no effect on the video quality from the cable.
