Corsair HX750 connector not compatible with Gigabyte GA-787X-UD5TH

I just purchased the HX750 Power Supply and I'm surprised to find that it will not connect to the Gigabyte motherboard (GA-Z87X-UD5 TH). The plastic ATX connector does not fit. Are there multiple ATX connector versions?

i take it you mean the 24 pin? also, sorry if it makes you think i have assumed you are dumb, but make sure the cable is facing the right way when you try to insert it. the number of times a cable wont go in, only to find its around the wrong way :)
