Hi guys, in the next 3 days I will buy a pc with 3tb HDD, and I want to buy some Samsung Evo SSD too, but I want to know what is better for the lifespan and performance of the ssd, buying 1 ssd 250gb for my Windows 7 and 1 ssd 250 for my games, or just buying a 500GB SSD for both things?

Thank You Guys

Updated:

And I Heard that it's not recommended to download torrents on a ssd, why?, if this is true, when I'm downloading any game from steam or origin it's the same right? And if the os needs to read every time the game, the lifespan decreases very fast like torrenting?

Solution
The lifespan of each are the same. The benefits of going with a 500GB drive over 2 250GB drives are: a) lower cost and b) it is faster than a 250GB drive.
Also, i thibk its more convienant to have all data on 1 drive rather than 2 because its a hassle trying to save stuff in the right drive. Also, SSDs have a low failure rate so the 500GB will last just as long as 2 250GB drives

I'm not sure why someone said don't download torrents onto hdd. Maybe cuz it would be large files that are constantly written. not sure. Anyways, you're gonna get a HDD so just put torrents there. You don't need a SSD to open a torrent movie or file faster.

I put my steam and origin games on my SSD. This could last for 5 years or more and I'm sure it would, if I didn't upgrade so much.
