I am planning to build a high end system in near future.
Here's the rig :
Intel i7 4700K @3.5GHz
16 GB RAM @1600MHz
AMD R9 290 4 GB GDDR5
Cooler Master 700 watt PSU

My Question is : "Should I buy an SSD or a standard 1TB hard disk @7200rpm,6GBPS ? "

I don't want to spend extra on storage (i have exceeded my budget already) ,but the fear of losing a few FPS while gaming is making me worry.

Please let me know if buying an SSD will boost my gaming performance or not.

Only on loading times, the game play will be the same as a regular HDD. The usual setup with SSD is using a small (60-100GB) for the operating system and core program files and a HDD for storage and game installs ect. You do notice a significant improvement when your OS is installed on an SSD.

SSD is the best solution for loading times. If you buy an SSD, look at the Plextor M5P Xtreme. It is a fantastic drive with incredible fast transfer rates and it has the reliability to back up it.

CM PSUs are crap. Don't do it! Get a quality PSU from XFX, Seasonic, Corsair (except CX Series).
