This is my first attempt at building a PC, so I would really appreciate any comments. It's primarily a gaming build, built with hope that it'll allow me to play modern games in 1920x1080 with decent FPS, but I don't necessarily need best settings. I might want to overclock in the future (I would obviously add new CPU cooler then), but it's not a priority. Will this build work well together?

CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P
Memory: G.SKILL 2x4GB DDR3-1600MHz RipjawsX
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 500GB
Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 270X OC Twin Frozr IV Gaming 2GB
Case: Corsair Carbide 200R
Power Supply: OCZ ZS 650W
Optical Drive: ASUS DRW-24F1ST DVD/CD Writer

I'll be buying this in Poland, so I didn't include any links to Newegg, PartPicker etc. The links point to Ceneo.pl, which is Polish general purpose offer collector. I built this mostly according to prices in agito.pl, but I'm going to look for better deals later.

I've also been thinking about getting 1866Mhz memory (Corsair Vengeance Red), as it is about the same price - is it a good idea?

Edit: added links.

For the same price the 1866mhz would be a great choice. Instead of the r9 270X i suggest the r9 270 which can be overclocked to run just like a r9 270X. For storage i suggest you get a 1TB WD Blue drive.

The price from a 500gb - 1tb is not much. Just get a 1tb Baracuda or WD Blue if one or the other is cheaper. You only need around 500W with that build so you can try to save some money on the PSU. Look for a corsair / XFX / Antec / seasonic 80+bronze.

Otherwise looks good, a 7870 performs just as good as those 2 cards, but may cost less where you are so have a look.

could you provide some link from Poland so that more accurate configurations can be presented.

I added some links to polish sites. I couldn't find any in english, sorry about that.

1TB does seem to be pretty cheap, so I'm thinking about WD Scorpio Blue WD10EZEX. HD7870 seems to actually be a bit more expensive than 270, but I read that 270 has less power connectors than 270X and some write that it impacts it's overclocking potential, so I'm not sure about it... Though it seems fast enough as it is, I guess. Should I worry about it? As for PSU, would XFX Core 550W be good?

Well, I'm looking to spend around 2800zł, but if that doesn't mean too big performance drop I wouldn't mind going a bit lower with the price. Thanks for all the help so far!
