Hey, I recently moved and we currently use a Netgear DGN2000. It's worked "well enough". Speed isn't an issue as the highest internet out here is 5MB/S. But the range it offers is very poor.

I have an office set up outside about 45 feet away and it barely reads it at all. Using WiFi Analyzer I get -85DBM. -40 in the house. I am seeking a router that also allows for a modem, but ordering two separate devices is fine. I am more prone to liking Linksys/Cisco, but any brand will do. I'm trying to find a fair price - Linksys X2000 is $70 which is on the high-side for what I'm doing. But any help would be great! I would just get an extender but honestly I'm just not a fan of the current modem/router anyway.

It is a nice model, but doesn't offer the feature I need of being a modem. But yea, it has amazing range. I do love the features though haha. Cloud, and everything. Price is about double the budge I'm looking ($170 on Amazon for the one I saw).
