What is the distance to the clients that will receive the stream, and what construction materials, walls, and floors involved?

What model modem/router?

Do you have any interfering networks nearby, you can check with the free basic wireless analyzer inSSIDer from HERE, look under the Network tab for data.

Distance between my clients is roughly 5-7 meters. However I am connected to the internet via a wifi setup by a d-link n300 router. . . My problem is that I am unable to stream media from my wired PC (connected to the router with a Ethernet cable) across other devices using the sameSSID (which are connected via wireless lan). . .

Unimpeded you may be able to stream video to a single device at that range, wireless has poor bandwidth in actual use. What results did you get when you ran inSSIDer? How may devices are you attempting to stream to at any one time?

I'm not clear on exactly what you are trying to do (other than to stream content in a generic sense) What applications are you using to run the streamed media on the wired PC, and what app is on the device to run the streamed content?

Are your devices capable to access an unsecured folder on the wired PC to directly obtain the mp3/mp4 file?
