Budget - Around 75-130 euros on Amazon.de

Source - Motherboard

Requirements for Isolation - Wont need any isolation, will be using them in my room
Preferred Type of Headphone - Fullsized

Preferred tonal balance - Overall balance

Past headphones - I've used the G35 but the cables were too much to deal for me. So right now I'm using Sennheiser HD650s and it's good for music but I'm looking for a 'gaming' headset, or a headset with surround and a microphone.

Preferred Music - Rock and KPop

Since I live outside the US, I'll be using Amazon.de mainly

I've looked at the G930 wireless 'G35' and saw that apparently it doesn't function too well with Win7, the bass is too weak and there are issues with the right ear sometimes. I don't know where else to look for actual headsets w/microphone other than the typical Razer, Logitech and Turtlebeaches..

The ATH-M50s are very expensive but I'm willing to pay that much if they are worth it even though they don't have a microphone. These aren't the only headsets I am going to look at, so if anyone else has suggestions that would be appreciated

i have a pair of ath-m50s and they are great. much better sounding than cheap under $100usd headphones and certainly better than gaming headsets. they arent surround sound but most games support virtual surround anyways so its not a huge deal.

perhaps the best stereo headphones you can get under $250usd. in the states i've seen them open box for as low as $99usd.

you can always attach a modmic to the side of them. or use a desk mic. or use a clip on mic
