Hi community,
I am building my first gaming PC over the xmas holidays (only 2 weeks to go) and was wondering what will be better. i5's are obviously way better for gaming, but i have a tight budget, so these are the things I can afford:
Either a . . .
1. i5 4440 with a Radeon HD 7870
and a AsRock H87 Pro4
2. AMD FX 6300 with a Radeon HD 7870
and an Asus M5A97 R2.0 with a 120gb Samsung 840 EVO SSD
3.Intel Core i3 3220 with a Radeon HD 7870
and an AsRock H87 Pro4 with a 120gb Samsung 840 EVO SSD
Which is the better combo? I know that the i5 is a better combo for gaming but I also want all round fast pc performance - so if the FX6300 is OK for gaming then I would rather get an SSD than an i5. Please give me all your opinions.
