Anything I'm missing? (besides keyboard mouse etc.)

Am I going to need any extra things for when I physically put my PC together, Like thermal paste or something?

This is my first build, after a week or so of researching this setup I just need to make sure that I have absolutely everything I need so I'm not waiting an extra week to play my machine.

(Note that my graphics card is missing because I already have one)

the box cooler has thermal paste pre-applied. i don't get why you went for overclock friendly components but dont pick a custom cooler (cm 212 evo for example)

A graphics card maybe?
EDIT: now you post you don't need a card so my comment is invalid

Not sure why you went for an Ivy Bridge CPU when you can get a Haswell one now

I'm planning on it in the future, right now I'm just going to make sure everything works and if I feel like I need to overclock it I'll order a custom cooler later. I don't think the overclock friendly versions are too much more expensive anyway.

well a Z board is significantly more expensive then H, B etc class. the K on the cpu doesnt cost that much though. sounds like a plan then. all good.

p.s. if the temps on the new build are too high or if the stock cooler is too noisy keep cash around for the cooler too. just in case.

You think the stock cooler will be enough without overclocking? If its not a safe bet I would rather get a custom one now to avoid damage and have it for overclocking anyway.

EDIT: A bit of researching answered my own question, I'll just get one of those temperature monitoring programs to make sure when I get it running.

I would get at least a 212 EVO for my expensive CPU even if I never planned to OC it, it's a good investment to help it live longer, but that's just me.

Well I'm not ordering it until the end of the day, I'll have to look into it.

the standard cooler though a bit noisy are tested for compatibility with the cpu-s so if anything goes wrong without overclocking it's a warranty case. you can get the bigger/better cooler later on, it's no problem.
