hello,
I'll keep it very short, I have OCZ ZS SERIES 750w PSU and I want to get tower case tomorrow. My friend has similar psu, OCZ MODEXTREME PRO 700w and he said that cable lenght was not enough for his chase (Coolermaster 690 advanced II )

so i need to know if i'll have similar problem or not...

thanks in advance.

Hmmm, I have a Cooler Master 912 HAF case and had an ASUS P8Z68 MOBO in there. The AX 850w PSU was bottom mounted and I had some difficulties with that as well. I got the CPU connectors plugged in, but it was a struggle. That is probably the only cable you'll have difficulty with. Guess you could just run it across the top.

I guess we'll see once I get the tower case itself. I hope I won't need manual work to lenghten the cable. Meanwhile just an offtopic question, is the difference between 1333 mhz ram and 1600 mhz ram huge? I have 4 GB 1600 and want to increase it but it costa 2x as much as 1333 one so I was thinking about downgrading, what do you think about it?
My system specs are:
CPU: i5-3570k
GPU: GTX 660 Ti
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77
and that OCZ ZS series 750w psu.

4g of ram should be okay if you are running Windows 7 for the time being until you can upgrade. A lot depends on what you will be doing. You have a dedicated video card, so that takes the VRAM out of the equation as to usage of system ram. It has it's own.

well today I went and bought Coolermaster CM 690 II midtower case (instead of full tower that I wanted for some uknown reasons) and got enough money leftover to buy 8GB G.skill ripjaw 1866mhz Ram! + the cpu supply cable was just enough in length(from behind!). It certainly was a good day! hah!

Thank you for your answers! I'll mark the one I think answered as solution!

p.s. I usually use my PC for gaming and sometimes I edit and render videos in sony vegas and premiere (I just like messing around with videos hehe)

thanks again!

That always makes for a good day when you save enough to buy something else.
