Hi,

I'm building my first PC, and I'm having trouble picking a graphics card. I was originally going with a Radeon 7950, but the prices have spiked. I would like to run most games on high to ultra settings.

Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2gufz

Power Supply: Rosewill Green Series RG630-S12 630W

Hard Drive: WD Blue 1TB Hard Drive

Its going to be hard to get high ultra settings with that CPU. Most GPUs will be bottlenecked by it

I got it on sale for the same price as the FX - 6300

Your best bet is a GTX 760 for $250. It performs better than an HD 7950 anyway.

And yeah, games will play fine, but you'll need to tweak the most intense games' draw distances so you aren't dropping below 30-40 fps all the time.

I am not going to be using the computer for only gaming so that is why I chose to go with AMD. It also has better price to performance.
