Hey
I will be buying my computer in 2 pieces, first the case, cpu, mobo, ram and psu, and then, one or two months later the GPU.

Now my question is: Will i be able to use intel HD graphics and then output it trough my current GPU? The motherboard i'm going with doesn't have dvi, and old GPU does.

It might seem a strange setup, but i'm just wondering if it's possible because otherwise i will wait two months and but the complete thing.

Cheers Jelle

No, you have to use the MB outputs. That being the case most GPUs have better performance than onboard intel HD graphics. Why not use the older GPU.

Actually you can by virtualizing the gpu. It's what virtu does. But what is your old gpu?

My old GPU is an gts 7600 that came with my previous pre-built PC, it's just not up the the task of running my 1080p screen, youtube laggs at 480p and playing games is a big no go

If your mobo comes with virtu then maybe you should try it.
