I've had this problem for a while, which seemed to fix itself for a couple days, and then it came back again

No matter what type of storage device I connect to any of my usb ports, the driver will fail to install. I've tried my 3tb Seagate Backup Plus, my 2tb Seagate Backup, my flash drives, my old 500gb external, my fiance's external... nothing will work. My USB mouse works fine, my phone and tablet connect just fine, but hard drives fail. See the pic below for the problem Windows says

I have an Asus G74sx

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

1tb hdd

10gb ram

Intel i7 2670QM 2.2ghz

Geforce GTX 560m

I don't know what else you guys need to help me

I suggest installing drive booster and see if any of the usb drivers need updating. it may be a bad driver
