Hello,

Yesterday I finished building my first computer. Everything seems to be working fine, except my power supply which is a XFX Pro 750w.

I googled about the noise problem, and it seems like a common problem. I don't mind the noise but I want to make sure these voltages are fine.

I did CPU test with Prime 95 and GPU Test with OCCT (these 2 tests were short, 1 hour and 35 mins, I know for better results you need like more than 3 hours).

Voltages I got from CPUID HWMonitor after I ran Prime 95:

  1. motherboard
  2. voltages
  3.
  4. cpu vtt 1.068v 1.068v
  5. vcc3 3.364v 3.384v

  7. +vcc 3.380v 3.380v
  8. vAXG 0.900v 0.900v
  9. cpu vcore 0.660v 1.224v

You can see my computer specs in the OCCT GPU images.

So the question is, are these voltages fine? Is this noise problem something I should not worry about?

Note: I live outside US, so sending the unit for the warranty is costly, and it would be faster and maybe cheaper to buy another brand, like corsair :(

The voltages look good. If the noise is bothering you, then I would switch it out, but I don't see where it is necessary except for some peace of mind. XFX supposedly has good PSU's these days, but I am still reluctant to recommend them.

Thank you, that is a relief.
