I have a Vaio E series lapotop, i got it about a year ago and it got a viries. So i took it get it clean...the problem is that

Did you get a Restore Disk with it? If not did you make up the restore Disk(s) ? The Model number of your laptop would be helpful. Anyway, these days, the manufacturers do not include the Restore Disks Like they did in the past. They usually have a utility for making them from a partition on the Hard Drive and you have to make your own. I don't know where you took it, but they should not have had to wipe the hard drive to get rid of whatver malware was on there.
