Hey,

I've been looking around for a few hours and couldn't find much of use. I'm not really sure what the issue is - But I'd assume it's graphics or CPU related perhaps (no idea).

The black screen (sometimes one monitor goes blue) and buzzing happens randomly, sometimes hours apart, and was once a couple of minutes apart just now. I fix it by holding down the power button, then simply turning it back on again until it does it again.

Has anyone had a similar issue? My specs are:

CPU - Intel i7-4770k (not overclocked)
GPU - Asus GeForce GTX 770 2GB (not overclocked)
RAM - 16GB LP Corsair Vengeance
MB - Asus Z87-A
SSD (OS/games) - 256GB Samsung 840 Pro Series, 160gb free
HDD (Documents, etc) - 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM
PSU - Corsair 760W, ATX12V/EPS12V
OS - Microsoft Windows 8.1

Temperatures ~10-20 mins after a crash: http://puu.sh/5GBqg/0924f6b425.png

Other info:

  • Built the computer a week ago
Got latest graphics card drivers (R331)

If you need to know anything else, let me know.

Thanks!

It takes a while to reproduce - But I think it's the graphics card overheating. I got 4 new noctua fans, but it still crashed just now and my graphics card is over 57C. Is there a reason they're not cooling the graphics card much? There's like no difference to last time. I have 2 on the side taking in air, and 2 on top taking out air, with the stock 2 on front and 1 on back intaking and outaking respectively. :(

The audio doesn't always buzz, but the screens randomly go white/grey/black still. Is it worth trying to re-install the OS or something?

"The driver \Driver\WUDFRd failed to load for the device ACPI\PNP0A0A\2&daba3ff&2." also appears in admin logs at the time of the crash, I don't know if it has anything to do with it.

I did a fresh install of Windows 8, and now both my monitors randomly "disconnected" at the same time, as if they were checking for a connection, but couldn't find one. They're both connected to the graphics card, one via HDMI and one via HDMI<->DVI.
