I recently installed a few new PC components, all of which work well with the exception of my new SSD, the OCZ Vector 128GB. I am running it in my SATA 0 port along with an older Western Digital Blue 500GB in a SATA 1 port, on my Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H motherboard, if that makes any difference. In the BIOS boot option priorities screen, only one of the two is recognized at any given time, which is the drive I select as my priority 1 in the Hard Drive BBS priorities tab. I set this as my SSD, the boot drive for the computer, where WIndows is installed, and it boots fine. But with the HDD off of the Boot Option list, it's not being recognized by Windows as a proper drive. It's recognized in my device manager as existing, but fails to identify the storage capacity and other actual properties of it. As a result, it isn't accessible anywhere on my computer, only my SSD is. Earlier today it did the exact same thing with my SSD when booting off of my HDD. It seems only one is recognized in the boot option priorities and subsequently by Windows at once, how can I get both to be recognized and used?
