Last night I encountered a problem with my PC

I recently upgraded my graphics card from a very weak AMD 6670 to a GTX 650Ti SSC 2GB, this was about 3 weeks ago.

My specs

i5 2320 3.0Ghz
GTX 650ti 2GB SSC
450w PSU
8GB RAM

So I was just browsing the web (not playing a game or having anything demanding running at the time). My PC was not hot at all, when out of no where my PC freezes I waited a moment and it was just froze so I without any control of my PC I held the power button to shut it down. This has never happened before so I thought that was the right thing to do, I then booted up my PC only to hear that it was making twice the amount of noise it makes before and does not give any signal to my monitor.

I have taken out my GTX 650Ti and replaced it with my old graphics card the 6670, everything works fine but this has made me pretty frustrated as I payed £120 for the GTX only to get a few weeks out of it. I've tried swapping the two cards to see if it makes any difference but nothing seems to help. Im starting to think that my GTX 650Ti is faulty.

Any solutions will be very helpful, thank you.

The required PSU for the 650 is a 450 but yeah that still might be the problem.

Yes, you're right, it should be enough. Contact them to get technical support and try to get an answer for your problem. In the meanwhile if you've got a friend to test the GPU and get a diagnostic.
