I'm building my first gaming computer and the motherboard I wanted (GA-970A-UDP) is sold out on Newegg. The next one, GA-970A-UD3P is still available and is $15 less than the motherboard I wanted, which leads me to believe it isn't as good.

Tried comparing the two products at Gigabyte's website and though the differences were minor, I don't know if any of them are potential deal breakers... Help?

yes they do:

even the 760 supports them. the amd sockets haven't changed since the am2. these old boards (760 - the 970 is relatively new) are not designed for the new fx and won't overclock but the cpu is supported, they can run it.

No more than $115. My processor is an AMD FX-4350 and my video card is an ASUS HD7770.
