Hi, after buying a new motherboard, cpu and ram, i found my 550watt power supply cant give enough power and shuts the computer off, so, i decided i want a new power supply, but there is one problem, i can not seem to find a power supply above 550 watts that will fit into my case, i am looking for something between 800 and 1000 watts of power and it cannot be bigger than 5.8 x 5.5 x 3.4 inches

How do you feel about running with the power supply sitting outside the case?

5.8 x 5.5 x 3.4 < shouldn't it say 5.9? not 5.8 , OEM is usually 5.9

Good choice to replace it , that is one of the worst brands on the PSU market.

If you are worried about dust, there are a variety of dust filters that you can get to cover any fan opening. Just search 'dust filter' on Newegg and you will see a number of options.

You won't find any that size with higher wattage.

Oh well, is it safe to actually have the psu on top of the case without the risk of my cpu, gpu, ram and mobo getting overheated? i will improvise if i have to.

No risk. The metal housing is well grounded (assuming a reputable PSU manufacturer).
But the cabling will look ugly and you might get the opportunity to write a tutorial about "cable management" when you are done.

Well then, i will put it outside of the case, i dont really care about the looks as long as it does the job and anyway, what do you guys recommend me to buy ranging from 800-1000 watts?
