Hey guys,
I am about to buy a new PC computer and I am looking for an advice for the best graphic card for 3d animation, After effects rendering and heavy graphic work in general?
what are the best options available today, in the high end price range.
Plus, I still consider buying a Mac-book pro instead of a desktop PC.
In that case, my question is, whether the latest versions of the Macbook pro holds a good enough graphic card for these purposes or do I need to buy an external graphic device (station)?

Thanks in advance!

Best for very high end work would be something the NVIDIA Quadro K6000 VCQK6000-PB 12GB Workstation Video Card. It is about $6K. But I don't know much about the Mac world, so I don't know what they might have to offer in that range.

He mentioned a Macbook Pro and if he is looking at the OS X platform the new Mac Pros are gonna be boss. AMD FirePro Graphics great for doing work.

i just dont get the extra cost of the mac hardware (which is the exact same hardware as a windows pc, intel cpu's, amd/nvidia graphics), and then you will need to buy and install windows and bootcamp to actually get any functionality from the mac.

I personaly love the OS X operating system. It has a much nicer feel and is easier to navigate. Also apple has some good media applications such as final cut, motion, and Logic Studio.
