Hello.

I have an HP Pavillion (p7-1234: http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAG...) I was wondering if I could get a new graphics card. I was going to get an HD 7770 or 7790 ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... )

Will that graphics card work in my computer? Do you know of any other graphic card that might be better?

Will I need to get a new PSU? If so, I was planning on getting this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Will it work? What is the best PSU to get in my situation?

Thank you.

The GPU should work just fine and yes I would replace the PSU. The 300w PSU that is included with that HP is not enough to push anything beyond what comes with the system really. So yes a 450-500w good quality PSU should work OK.

Thank you for the response. Is there enough wattage? Should I get one with more wattage? Is the brand a good brand of PSU sellers? Should I get a different one (If the brand is bad). Sorry for asking so many questions, I just want the present for my brother to be perfect.
