It still works and boots fine with the old card but whenever I try to use my new card it gets stuck at the screen where it gives you the options to go into your BIOS and whatnot. If I let it sit there long enough it goes to black screen then flashes a blue screen of death and then reboots again.

I have tried using both PCI-E x16 slots available and I used driver sweeper in safe mode to remove all previous AMD drivers and neither of these helped. I tried updating my bios which is on version F14 to the latest, F21, but I couldn't even do that because the only download available was 32 bit and I have a 64 bit machine. I tried unplugging my sound card in case that was conflicting with it or something and that didn't help. I even tried just installing the new drivers but it wouldn't even let me without plugging the new card in.

I've been troubleshooting for about 4-5 hours now and I'm completely out of ideas so I would really appreciate some help.

My machine specs:
i-5 3550
4 gigs of ddr3 ram
gigabyte z77-d3h mobo
1tb 7200rpm hdd
GTX 770 SC
Creative Sound Blaster Z SBX
Raidmax 850w

normally, bios' should be installed onto a CD or a USB drive and installed through your bios, NOT through windows

Alright then I have a question. The zip file for the bios update came with these files: autoexec.bat; Z77D4H.F21; and Efiflash.exe

Do I put all three on the USB and let it do its thing or which file do I need for the bios update?

Updated it via the Q-Flash method and everything is working fine now. Kinda funny how something that simple would cause such a major problem. Regardless, thank you very much for the help sir.
