Hi! I just reinstalled Windows 7 and now my partitions that were previously formatted now show up as unallocated. Here's what it looks like:

Just after I installed the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver (AHCI) and I went into Disk Management I got a message telling me that Disk 4, 5 and 6 had to be initialized so I clicked "OK" but then got a message saying they were not "ready" yet. Although now they seem to have initialized but Windows does not see them as formatted for some reason.

I really would like to get the data back, is there anything I can try?

Edit: Does anyone know if ZAR ( http://www.z-a-recovery.com/download.htm ) will be able to fix this?

No, I had all drives except for my OS drive unplugged because for some reason the Windows installer won't install if I have any additional drives plugged in. I guess it's because of the chipset/SATA controller or something bugged in the BIOS.

ZAR did manage to recover the files but the headers were messed up. I think that was because when partitions were initialized again, new MBRs got written to them.
